Informant!
To start of the best thing about this film is Matt Damon's performance. He portrays Whitacre as a complete self-obsessed goofball but still making him maintain a believability to the character. The film as a whole though I thought was just okay. I thought it had great cinematography. I thought colors, offices, placements, everything were almost perfect. I thought Soderbergh does great work with the camera and where and how he wants the shots placed and his style. But the story never found itself. Was it a really over the top kind of crazy comedy, or a dark comedy with a thriller feel about price fixing? And I thought the beginning of the movie was a lot better than the last half unfortunately. I just kind of lost interest and began losing the story towards the end. I think they just tried little bit too much to push comedy later on in the movie. Overall yeah it is enjoyable and an absolute solid performance by Matt Damon and the movie portrayed most of the characters very well. It's a intriguing story just has some noticeable issues that lie within the movie.
